Bottle, 13C. Almost gushed. Very dark reddish brown with a large but fading light tan head. Aroma of sweet red fruits, singed toffee, dough, spiced red wine. Silky texture. Sweet (and slightly sour) with plums and berries, doughy yeast, toast, spices. Bitterness is there to balance. Softly enveloping.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, caramell, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was almost ashy and lightly bitter. Nice tasty beer without extreme components.
