Draught at Brewers Beer Bar, Gothenburg. Pours black (or exremely brown) with one finger mostly lasting tan head. Aroma full of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, sugar. Taste is fully loaded with malt, coffee, soy sauce, oats and chocolate. Some lingering bitter hops. Full body, soft carbo, oily and almsot chewable texture. A very loaded imperial stout, nice!

Draught at KØ14. Vinous aroma. Black colour. No head. The flavour has a very bitter roasted barley note, a little tannic, actually. Also rather sweet. Slightly spicy hoppiness. Boozy finish.

Draught @ Brewers Beer Bar. Pours oily pitch black with a creamy blackish dark brown head that slowly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is malty and slightly fruity with roasted malts, raisins, prunes, liquorice fudge, vanilla fudge, moist soil, alcohol, burnt caramel, bitter chocolate, dark roast coffee, sweet soy sauce, resinous wood and alcohol. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, malty, slightly fruity with roasted malts, sweet soy sauce, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, liquorice fudge, vanilla fudge, raisins, prunes, moist soil, leather, pumpernickel bread, hay, burnt wood and alcohol. Mouthfeel is fat, viscous, round, tiny sticky sweet, slightly roasted astringent and full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, malty and slightly fruity with roasted malts, raisins, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, bilberries, hay, moist soil, leather, pumpernickel bread, burnt caramel, resinous wood and alcohol. Huge beer that manages to stay interesting and complex providing depth rather than just being a "big" beer. Not really the right day for a beer like this so I look forward to re-rate in the future.Re-rate a couple of days later. Perfect balance between all the components. Huge yet balanced. Intriguing and very tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of 100% Viking on 19 Nov 2014 at 19:45 - Score: 8. Original review text: Rum-raisin roasted malt bomb! Nice!
