Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours black with a beige head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with decadent chocolate and cocoa notes, some nice hazelnut nutty accents, charred brown sugar, muscovado sugar, kiss off sweet vanilla in the close.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is full of dark chocolate notes with some light roast. Light maple and faint vanilla and hazelnuts. Light bourbon and light alcohol spice and oak. Pours black with a small, thinnish, dark mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. No lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is rather sweet with lots of chocolate notes. Light roast. Moderate vanilla with light maple and hazelnut notes. Medium bitterness. Light bourbon notes with light oak and medium light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit sticky with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice dessert stout. Lots of chocolate notes with lighter hazelnut and vanilla. Maple is present but background.

(Tap) clear, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of soy sauce, nuts, hazelnut liqueur; smooth palate; rich, intense flavour with a long, light bitter sweet finish

Draught. Black with a minimal head. Aroma is fruit barrel malt. Flavour is deep black fruit, warm flavour, lots of booze really excellent.
