Brewed to 6.2% this IPA is a more typical English IPA, with sweet notes from the Maris Otter grist, offset by a lovely balance of new world hops (Chinook, Galaxy, Ekuanot, Summit & Mosaic) to give a citrus and orange zest aroma with light bitterness.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Smooth pale malts, little sweet. Mild orange hops, just enough to provide balance. A little pine. Light semi dry finish. Smooth and pleasant drinking, something of a potential sessioner.

0.33l bottle. This is a slightly clouded one. It's deep honey amber colored and it has a nice big lasting and lacing just off-white lingering head. On the nose this is quite a fruity one. Peach sweetness, some pine, I get tones of grass and a fair amount of nuts here also. Not a extreme, but definitely a nice nose. Pine and resinous flavors. Thick and kinda oily in the mouth and it has a nice creamy almost glowing carbonation level. Slightly earthy flavors also. Pine and some zesty citrus. I kinda enjoyed this. It feels well balanced between the malt sweetness the and all that pine hops. Yeah, I would not mind a re-visit to this one. 02.08.2014

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark golden to amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, a touch of resin, cautious hints of mandarine and orange, biscuity malty background. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally sweet biscuit malty basis, hints of pine and gooseberry. Very British.

Keg at the LBA fest at Le Gothique, 24/07/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is floral, citric sherbets, perfumed notes, bitter orange. Taste comprises much the same, a little 1D. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hoppy rinse. Adequate stuff, a little overly floral for this Bois.
