Buddel: Literally black, small, stable brownish head, dry roasty to ashy nose, traces of dried fruits, leather and chocolate underneath; pretty dry bitter flavour, low sweetness, light to medium bodied, not overly soft; dry bitter ashy, roasty and mild fruity finish. Not bad for a German Stout....

As "Berliner Stout - Das kleine Schwarze", 4.8% abv, bottle 0.33l from the brewery. Black colored. AROMA- chocolate and coffee, lactic tones (coffee termix). FLAVOR- smooth and creamy, neutral, moderately bitter, dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. Medium to fuller bodied.
Delicious dry stout.

Bottle at KCBD18. Jammy aroma, some earth or stable. Black colour. Dark brown head. Roasted flavour. With more stable. Creamy notes. Roasted barley. Very dry finish.

Bottle @ KCBD18. Pours hazy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of butter, yeast and malt,mwith faint roasty notes. Sweetish flavour of lactose and yeast, with malty and roasty notes. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Low carbonation. Drinkable but nothing special.

Flaske 330ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye i H7 19 Feb 18. Svart. Filmskum. Søt sjokoladearoma. Smaken lakris & søt sjokolade. Litt tørr etter hvert. Balansert.

330ml bottle bought at Hopfen & Malz in Berlin. A fawn-coloured head to a deep black body, clingy lacing down the glass. Dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice. Chocolate and liquorice to the taste character with a backdrop of berries. Mid-sweet malt-driven ending, nicely roasted. Quite well bodied. Nice one. Sampled @Bremer Craft Beer Festival. A dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, sweet malt, lactose. Taste of sweet chocolate, mild roasted malt, vanilla, lactose, good.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Brewbaker Berlin Classic Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light tart berry. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, tart berries, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141031]
