Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, weed, pine. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness backed by significant caramel malt sweetness. I was expecting a modern interpretation, but this is an old school early 2000s IPA through and through.

12 oz. can, packaged 4/18/22. Tasted 11/13/22 Piney hop smell right under the tab. Pours a big and sudsy head over a hazy yellow beer. Piney and tropical fruit nose of a big load of Citra hops. Taste bring in more of that resiny bitterness, but with notes of tropical fruit. A little less malt balance than I noted in the first review below.Noting that the foam stays pretty sturdy even after drinking half the can. Still a great exemplar of an American style pale ale. First impression, 4/12/19
Taster at Binny's North Riverside. Well, I've been swigging a lot of beers in a very short time. But this one stands for having a nice malt balance for a regular-strength pale ale. Tropical fruit overtones from Citra hops are right up front. Usually, I don't try to guess the hops, but the sampler said I was right on the money. Malty, as I said, to stand in contrast to their defining APA.
