Sample at Fox & Turtle Restaurant. Slightly hazed pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Aroma of floral hops, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, floral hops and malt. The finish is fruity and floral with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from can at Standard Market. Smell is what this most has going for it. A hoppy nose of citrus and then a whiff of pine. But there's still a spicy aroma of a warm farmhouse fermentation. The expected thin foam on top, golden color with a bit of haze. Hopping is much less noticed in the taste. Just a spicy yeast note, but it's also dry, and offers a rather light mouthfeel for what can be a heavy style.

Sample from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grass and earthy flora with grass and grains underlying. Flavor has grass and flora with a bit of honey, grass and grains supporting.
