Taster at Standard Market. Listed on the menu as a Rye Pale Ale with hibiscus and a single hop, but doesn’t mention what that hop is. Reddish brown in the glass, holds a thin layer of foam after to be the last of three beers tasted. Smell is spicy with specialty grains. Seems to be an American hop with a note of citrus involved. The taste reveals a note of nectar from the hibiscus, which works well with the spicy grain and hop, and especially with the lightly salty nut mix they serve here. The end result is a party for each of my taste buds.
