4 oz. taster at Atlas, where they run $2 to $2.50. Deep black with a strong coffee nose. Taste brings home those deep coffee roast malts, and a very dry finish. There is a slight taste of "staled stout" sourness, but only very slightly. Maybe this one, um, "pales" after I’ve had two of their specialty IPAs, but this comes across as a standard stout. Might interesting to try on nitro or cask.
