Found my notes from June and decided to just rate this here. Although this is listed only as "Dry-hopped with Chinook" instead of Cascade, they server had no more information than that. Maybe it’s the corporate Pale Ale with dry-hopping added. Either way, it pours quite cloudy, like the slightly dimmer cousin to a hefeweizen. Thin layer of foam announced its APA background. Overwhelming smell of Pacific area hops in case you doubted the claim. Lemon cream pie and a resiny pine branch, This was a cask pour, so it’s a little warm and flat, which seems to tame its hoppiness. Slight note of alcohol. Malt is pretty laid back, to keep the hops centered, For the big hoppy nose it packs, it’s quite an easy going drink.
