Bottle backlog October 2014. Unclear orange body with a fluffy tan head. Aroma has coffee and cooked vegetables with esters. Taste is harsh, sweet, vegetables and coffee, this is really discussing.

Bottle at Nisom, pours a clear golden with a large off-white head. Nose brings out candied notes and some resin. Flavour is pretty restrained for a IIPA, with light piney and resinous hops, and some candied sugar. Yeasty bitter finish. Solid stuff, but not a superior IIPA.

Bottle, at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. It pours an almost clear body, amber colored and a dense, finger-thick, off-white head. The aroma is lightly malty, with resin and quite a lot of citrus peel. Grapefruit and some orange. It’s very bitter on the palate, with a caramel maltyness as a backbone, kept company by a light alcohol touch and citrusy flavors. It’s quite dry on the palate, full-bodied and lightly warming. Lasting finish. An intense, tasteful beer that goes a little bit in all directions, trying too hard in a way, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 140905

Hazy pale golden color with a fine thick off white head. Looks nice. Powerful tropical fruity and mild grapefruit hoppy. Ok body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Oily. Quite nice balance between fruitiness and grapefruit flavor. Also some caramel. Nice ale. But more a fine IPA rather than a Double IPA.
