Named for John Andrew (Andy) Marck, the man that made our brewery possible. J.A.M. is a Barleywine aged in hand selected Bourbon Barrels. Rock out loud by taking a swig of this bawdy barrel-aged brew that was crafted and aged to be one of our finest. Nothing but the best liquid would suffice to be the namesake for the individual that brought this jam band together!

Draught @ Beer On the Wall - Park Ridge, IL. Clear brown with red highlights, very small frothy tan head, that's practically just a ring, woodsy caramel aroma, low carbonation, initially sweetish then medium bitter woodsy caramel malt taste, alcohol undertones, smooth body, long bitterish finish. Boozy brew.

22oz @ Brian's shared with Ryan and Phill.
Aroma: some dark fruits, American oak, caramel, some vanilla.
Taste: along the same lines, nice body and malt depth, some nice dark fruits, a bit boozy.
Overall: very pleasant and nicely balanced.

Poured from 650mL bottle (red wax). Very slow (surprising) gush on opening. Very dark brown with dissipating beige head. Very nice, balanced bourbon with syrupy dark fruits and sugars. Never tried this brewery before, but this is very nice.

5 oz. taster. 4,200th RATE BEER REVIEW!Brownish-black, an eggshell ring of foam still on the edge. Smell of toasty malts and a bit of raspberry. Spoiled a bit on my hand, and it is VERY sticky. Sweet malt taste overrides the barrel impressions. But they do show up as I go along. A great finish to my taster tray. Sips more like a bourbon that the Hawkins BA Stout. Hate to not give or a full 5.0, but I've got to act like I'm more critical than I really am
