Draft pint. I can see deep brown even in the dark, with almost an inch of tan head. Definitely chocolate and vanilla on the nose. Taste is a nice rich porter: coffee roast malt, some nice sweetness. Cocoa and vanilla blend together nicely. Guess the donuts, if they're actually there, are making for the sweetness. First time with this line of Spiteful God Damn Pigeons, definitely will be looking for more.

Dark brown coloured body with a rich, two centimetre tall tan head that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Aroma of chocolate (of course), roasted malt, nuts, earth, bunches of vanilla, some dry oak and a bit of lactose still noticeable. Medium-bodied; Assertive roasty and nutty flavours at first with a big dose of vanilla and sugars right behind while also showing some earthier and drier flavours, finishing with chocolate and a lot of lactose. Aftertaste is a bit more full-bodied with a side of vanilla and a good dose of roast and some fruit notes, even. Overall, an interesting beer that shows some good flavours, but nothing too cohesive or straight-lined here. Still, nice to sample and worth trying this or one of the other incarnations if you get a chance! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from West LakeView Liqours in Chicago, Illinois on 25-May-2016 for US$11,49 sampled at home in Washington on 06-April-2017.
