Taster at Orange & Brew. Maybe I should enter this as a sweet stout; I’m just not thrilled with the pastry style yet. This does have a nose of chocolate covered cherries. Dark brown body, not much head. Pretty sweet taste, indeed, there is some definite chocolate cake to it. Cherry in the palate as well, duh. Warming alcohol even in my tiny taster. Stronger alcohol than my previously rated beer. A bit of a viscous mouthfeel only shows how strong stouts can be different, not better or worse. Chocolate covered cherry impression remains to the last drop.
