Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2019. Pours a hazy peachy orange with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has sweet citrus, prickly pear, light grass, honey and a bit of agave underlying. Flavor has slightly tart prickly pear with agave and light sweet grains backing.

10 oz. tulip at Standard Market. Slightly hazy gold color. Thin ring of foam. Small columns of bubbles continue to feed the bit of foam along the edge of the glass. Smell is slightly fruity, with an even smaller note of tartness. Taste has a smooth balance of biscuit malt and an easygoing fruit tartness. Not very heavy on fruit at all, which plays in its favor. I think I get some yeast dregs as well, or that’s part of its farmhouse temperature fermentation. Mouthfeel is a little too hearty to play as a summer refresher, more a relaxing and sipping evening beer. Would play well with salty snacks.
