Sample at Kurtkeller 018: Tequila-aged and Let’s Agree to Ruin Our Evening with Pepper beers-tastic 01 on 11/04/2014. Hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Vegetal aroma with some malt behind it. Medium body with flavors of mild jalapeno, grainy malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is semi-hot with a peppery aftertaste. Average overall.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As No Label Don Jalapeno Ale ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, earthy chili, earthy malt, chili fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, earthy, chili burn. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle from Cloaker - thanks! Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving some lacing. Aroma is dried chili, jalapeno, grain, some bready caramel. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, medium heat, a bit smoky and jalapeno notes. Medium body, some finishing burn but not distracting. Interesting beer.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is veggie and toasted malty. Dry, spiced and herbal. Sharp bite towards the finish. Dry and spiced finish.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours slightly amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of spice, malt and hops. Deafening flavour of jalalalalalalalapeno yee-haw! Rodeo, man! Sweetish, malty notes can be discerned only in the onset. Then everything goes black...

Bottle 355ml @ fonefan
Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, chili, hint of smoke and spices. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly chili spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma: The aroma has some pepper/spice, caramel malts, and a bit of earth
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden-orange color with an off-white head
Flavor: This one has a nice pepper flavor, with the pepper is present, but not overpowering
Palate: The body is medium with a pretty decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid jalapeno beer. There's enough balance here to keep the spice from overpowering. I enjoyed this. I like the in-balance feel of the spice.
