Bottle BB 010803 . Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is oxidation, , roasted malt, caramel. Flavour is oxidation, malt, caramel, dried fruits.

Bottle 330ml. clear glas @ pre. The Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2014, TSODRBSG14. [ As CB Julespesial ]. [ Vintage BBF August 2003 ]. Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, oxidide malt, dried fruit notes, light caramel - toasted. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, bread, cardboard. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

33 cL clear bottle, 10 year vintage. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is wooden, earthy and light metallic. Flat malty. Toasted. Wooden. Mild spiced. Slight earthy finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Best before aug 2003. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, bread, caramel, fruits and hops. A bit oxidated.

Bottle, BB 2003. Murky brown with tiny head. Aroma is malt, caramel, oxydized and toasted. Flavour is malt, caramel, oxydized, toasted, notes of chocolate, thin and a little bitter.

Bottle. Best before date 20030801. It’s pretty flat, just some beige bubbles. Brown in color. The aroma is lightly oxidized, with some roasted malts. Caramel and raspberry and a touch of dried fruits. A bit thin on the palate, almost full-bodied. Caramel, oxidation, some bitterness and raspberry. Lasting raspberry and oxidized caramel finish. Not much resemblence to the original beer anymore, but still nice. Just in another way. 140724

Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, raspberries, caramel and oxidization. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is flat.

(330 ml bottle). Reddish brown colour, moderate head. Aroma is initially citrussy, then a bit oaky and spicy. Too aggressive carbonation. Flavour is thin and not complex, some malts but quite dry. Watery mouthfeel. A peppery bitterness in the finish.
