An exceptionally smooth hazy DIPA with low bitterness and a bold, fruity hop profile. Rakau hops from New Zealand give this fragrant brew intense, yet well-balanced hoppy character, with aromas of ripe peach and apricot balanced by subtle pine and freshly cut flowers. Fruity, spicy, and smooth.

Ridiculously hazy golden straw and raw honey coloured body with a thinnish, off-white and tan head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, resin, flowers and deep tropical fruits with mangoes and passionfruit both noticeable. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich tropically fruity flavours show through at first with a lot of malt, alcohol, resin, flowers, grass with some bitterness from grapefruit and flowers, with a very tropically vibe, pleasant sweetness and great balance. Aftertaste is sweet, very tropical, full of dry and floral hop bitterness, all with an almost perfect malt backbone, resinous and fructose sweetness and a slight dose of all the alcohol at the tail end. Overall, a very nice 'almost' Imperial IPA with a great hazy look, but very nice complexity and balance struck throughout. Great to sample, especially SUPER fresh (day of purchase!) and well worth trying to find here in Virginia! I guess I'm a fan of Rakau hops, even though I'm not sure I had them prior to this! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 21-May-2020 for US$5,99 sampled later in the day on 21-May-2020 at my house here in Washington, just a few blocks away.

$4.40 pint can, WW. Murky pale gold with a soft off-white head. Funky citrus, orange peel, melon nose. Holy cow that's juicy... flavor is juicy orange, pineapple, melon, mango... floral hops. Wow, this is good.

32oz crowler from Dominion pours a murky gold, creamy white head. Nose has standard stuff, honey comb, melon, orange blossom, floral. Flavor follows with melon and orange blossom, a bit tannic, oats are here but they feel over mashed, mango now. Finishes medium bodied, creamy. 7 4 6 3 12
