Clear plastic cup back at the hotel. Clear, honey gold, frothy & lingering head. Orange, bitter-green, diluted honey, white bread. Taste is watery orange honey, pound cake, floral soap, leafy bitterness. Full but soft carb. Mellow abv. So damn soapy. Almost.

A 12 oz can found in the singles display at the closest HEB. Lifting the tab before pouring into my ABGB snifter. The color is a clear bright yellow and the head is a settled cover of fine, white bubbles. The scent is a crisp citrus and straw. And the taste is a decent bit of lemon, some sweetness delivered by the honey I guess, grain and spring water. A small bitterness. A slightly different of your basic blonde ale. Not bad. My can indicates 5.2% abv, just to pass along.

12 oz can purchased in Austin, TX with a cool 360 pop top. 5.2% ABV. Pours a hazy light gold color with a very large off-white head and great retention. Almost no lacing. Faint lemony aroma. Pretty typical golden ale flavor profile with a light honey taste. Crisp mouthfeel. Medium body.

First beer of the day at The Lot for brunch in Dallas. Light and thin. Not much going on here. Grassy.

On tap at Brewers Ball Dallas. Pours a clear amber with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong honey and wheat. Medium body, sweet malt, wet biscuit, honey, dry finish, decent.

Can. Honey and herbal malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet barley malt and very mildly bitter herbal flavor. Light body. Okay but not much to it.
