Freshly picked flavors, unlike beer of any other season. Soft, approachable and dreamy like a flower garden. A truly homegrown "wet-hop" ale, infused with our entire harvest of hops grown in Blucher Valley, Sebastopol, CA.

On tap at Bottlecraft - Little Italy, pours a hazy bright copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has some faded earthy hops and light doughy notes. Flavour seems a bit faded, with bitter, earthy hops, a touch of pine, and bready malt. Doesnβt seem like itβs in optimal condition. Okay.

Mostly pine here. Golden pour with good fluffy head retention. Not a ton of character here, but might be a bit old. Light bitter end. Some straw. Can from mail order.

Fresh can. Enjoyable. Medium golden amber in color. Light haze. Fluffy slightly off white head. Sweet hop notes but mostly herbal, mineral-ish flavors to them. A little pine. It has more malt to it than you might expect from a wet hop pale ale. Toasty malty sugars. Light caramel. Pleasant, clean flavor. It has that sweet wet hop flavor but again more malt sweetness than you typically find in this sort of thing. Finishes fairly brisk with light to moderate bitterness. Some lingering pine/mineral/citrus rind hop aftertaste. Feel is soft and nice. Enjoyable little beer. It's not going to wow you but it's solid and fits with Moonlight's general character.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 30, 2020. Aroma is a balanced blend of malt and hops with hints of alcohol. Moderate cracker malt notes, caramel and toasted bread notes. Notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and solid fresh hop notes. Pours a rather clear, copper color with a medium sized, fairly thick, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderate malt notes of cracker, caramel and toasted bread. Moderately strong bitterness with hints of alcohol. Moderately strong pine resin, grapefruit and fresh hop character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid wet hop ale. Good hop character with quite a bit of malt notes to balance it all.
