Poured from 473mL can (pkg 05/16/2022). Cloudy yellow with small white head. A bit dank, citrus hops, touch of car exhaust, not a ton of depth. Okay.

Opaque, pale. Has a peach, pear sort of aroma, little bit weedy. On the palate, balanced, relatively low bitterness, and the hops again are a bit weedy, with more stone fruit.

Poured from a 16 oz can with no visible date code. Aroma is very dank and fruity with lots of passion fruit, grapefruit, tropical citrus and hints of pine. Dank, oily resin abounds. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow straw color with a large, fairly thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and hints of alcohol. Fairly strong hop notes of passion fruit, grapefruit and tropical citrus. Loads of dank, oily resin notes with hints of pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a solid pale ale. A nice expression of these hops with Riwaka seemingly more prevalent in the aroma while Simcoe carries the flavor.

The beer is a darkened yellow. Quite cloudy. Medium white head, fine foam, and seems to stick around. The aroma is a fairly sharp mix of hop flavors. Lime peel, grass, some tangerine sweetness, pine, mild melon. Mild pale character anchors the taste, but the hops are the attraction. A little more tangerine but otherwise similar to the aroma. Not super sweet but juicy and flavorful. Rather dry. Refreshing, easy to drink. Medium bitter. A little creaminess in the mouthfeel. Normal carbonation. Good beer.
