Miltei musta, käytännössä vaahtoamaton olut. Tuoksu on paahteisen maltainen, ruisleipämäinen ja ehkä jopa hieman vaniljainen, mutta loppupuoleltaan Laitilalle ominaisesti ikävän hernekeittomainen. Maku on paahteinen, melko makeahko. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma, hiilihappoja reilusti. Tuoksussa ikävä sivuvivahde ja maku hieman yksipuolinen. Mämmiä en oikein onnistu löytämään. Ihan ok.

Fonefan 290814. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, chocolate,bread. Flavour is apple, coffee, malt, hop, chocolate , bread. Ordinary beer.

Bottled. Close to black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild oatmeal like notes as well as some slight ashes, chocolate and quite roasted. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some slight sweetness to balance it up. Not all too Mämmilike, even though there are some notes of it to be found. Actually not all too bad.

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Raisins, chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. Plums, raisins, plain chocolate and roasted malt feature in the taste. Fairly rich for the abv, but easy to drink.

[ As Laitilan Kievari Mämmi Stout ].Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, chocolate, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, rich firm beige head. Caramelly chocolate aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Butter and cocoa powder, plenty of caramel. Mid bitter finish with slight notes of tin.

Bottle. A more or less clear one, brown in color and with a small, dense, beige head. Dark malts, chocolate, coffee and some rye bread in the aroma. Some dried fruits. It’s medium bodied and with a nice carbonation. Semi-sweet. Dark malts, chocolate and some coffee in the flavor, with a decent bitterness level. Lasting finish. Would perhaps feel a bit cloying if drinking a bottle on my own, but it’s quite nice anyway. 140829
