Black body, with a medium, super-creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate.
Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, quite dry, with coffee, liquorice, wood.
Very nice. Roasty, with a lot of coffee, but still quaffable and quite easy. The creaminess is the highlight for me. Overall enjoyable, but I liked the previous Eegit’s Oatmeal Stout they had many years much more.
