Share of Kyoto Lefty's bottle. Thanks. Good stuff, bit creamy, sorachi? Nice if not so exciting. Was leathered at this stage.

From bomber to pint glass. Moderate citrus and moderate low lime. Slight sweet malt. Brushed golden-orange with a pure white head to collars. Slight lacing. Massive trub detracts from an otherwise pretty beer. Taste is fresh citrus. Orange with slight spice nicely in the background. Overall an enjoyable beer and easy drinking.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was recently released. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, lime, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of bright citrus hops and citrus peel spicing with moderate pale bready malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, lime, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, herbal, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine and citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, lime, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, herbal, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of bright citrus hops and citrus peel spicing with moderate pale bready malt sweetness; with a very crisp malt/bitterness balance and minimal cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice citrus spiced IPA! All around good balance and complexity of bright citrus hops and citrus peel spicing with moderate pale malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
