Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 3. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan had. Lightly tangy dark fruits in the nose, some charred wood, dark berries. Medium to big sweetness in the flavour, with some definite wood presence, light toffee, blackcurrants, figs. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly tannic, with dried fruits and toasted toffee. Comes across as a touch thin, but it’s very nice overall.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. It had a nice medium sized deep beige head when it came from the tap, gone now. The beer itself is just about what you can call black. On the nose I get a strong salty licorice tone with black roasted malts, a good amount of whisky and traces of wood. Not bad at all. Boy that's thick and super chewy in the mouth. Could almost cut this with a spoon. Some prickling bubbles present. Lovely dark chocolate flavors. Sweet chocolate actually with whisky, wood, rarely and some hints of vanilla. Lots of flavor. A mild heat in the aftertaste. I'm impressed. 03.05.2014

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Aroma is some charred wood, roast, oak and vanilla. Very rounded and nice, mellow booze. Dark caramel coloured pour, quite viscous. Flavour is sweet creme caramel, oak and vanilla. Palate is full and creamy, melts on the tongue. Flavours is really nicely integrated with the barrel.complex beer. Superb.
