Shaker pint glass draft at Free State Brewing Company in Lawrence, Kansas. The pour is a clear light golden with a small splotchy head. The aroma is light smoke, cereal grain malt and a hint of floral. The taste is a great balance of the soft clean malt sweetness, floral and the smoke integrated in back. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and smoke that lingers. Easy drinking, well done version of the style.
