375 ml bottle generously sent by my secret Santa, Nimbleprop. The pour is a deep brown with garnet highlights and a ½ inch tan head that falls quickly. The aroma is dried fruit and spice yeast, caramel bread malt, and a nice Belgian character. The taste is mildly sweet cherry, followed by additional sweetness from the malt, and moves into the spice character of the yeast. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation, finishes clean and dry with a touch of sweet then the yeast carrying the after taste. Tasty beer, enjoyed this. Thanks for sending this my way, Andrew.

375ml bottle pours a very murky amber with a big cap of off white head. Nose is very complicated and not at all dubbel, reads more dark saison, grist, raw wood, cherry, soil, tobacco. Flavors all follow. Full bodied. Lightly tart, lightly acetic. Really complex. Not to style but... 8 4 8 4 15
