Beers of the World country 158: Cayman Islands 🇰🇾

"When it comes to the beer it is nice to try something else than the regular lager. It has a faded yellow colour with a massive foam head that I had to wait to settle before trying the beer. The smell is a little fruity and the same goes for the taste. Hard to describe the finish, but soapy and metallic are words that come to my mind, although very subtle." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

12 oz can purchased at Blackbeard Liquors in Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman. The pour is a copper golden with a well formed pure white one inch foamy white head. The aroma is sweet floral, almost white wine grape along with some cereal grain. The taste is the softly sweet white grape, floral, cereal grain and a hint of cardboard that finishes with more of the sweet white wine, dry. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the clean dry sweet floral finish. Interesting take on a Kolsch.
