Draught @ [ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2012 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As DTU Hoppy Brown Ale ].Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120512]

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a fully gone head. Aroma is roasted malty and light fruity toasted caramelish malty. Toasted malty, breadish and caramelish. Smooth bitter and toasted malty. Bitter and toasted finish.

Draught, 7.0%. Caramelly aroma. Clear light brown colour. No head. The flavour is caramelly and quite bitter. Slightly rough bitterness.

On tap. Pours an almost clear dark amber with an off-white head. Fruity nose with a subtle roastiness - very subtle. Solid body, good maltiness and some late hops. Drinkable alright, but it has absolutely nothing to do with a Brown Ale! 100512
