16oz can pours a translucent amber brown with some sudsy off white head. Nose has malt, toast, nutty, roasted root veg, candied pecans, caramel. Flavor has cream soda, malt, carob, caramel, root veg, some tobacco. Lots happening. Fairly tight finish, just off dry.

16 oz Willebecher glass draft at BKS Artisan Ales in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a slight haze of brown copper with a 1/4 inch light tan head that falls quickly, leaving behind pretty lace. The aroma is soft nut, fresh biscuit, soft toast, clean malt and hay. The taste is a great balance of the biscuit malt, the hop, the grass, and finishes with mineral. The palate is light bodied with soft natural carbonation and a crisp clean dry finish. Exactly what I want in a Mild.
