Crowler purchased at the brewery in Minneapolis, Minnesota - canned on 8/19 purchased 8/20 consumed 8/21. The pour is a hazed yellow with a ½ inch white head and a ton of fine carbonation bubbles rising to the top of the glass. The aroma is soft dark cherry fruit, lemon citrus, floral and traditional Berliner Weiss yeast notes. The taste is bright tart sour, followed by citrus lemon puckering fruit, bit of the cherry fruit and Brett bathroom type yeast carries the finish. The finish is not that clean or pleasant. The palate is light bodied, active fine natural carbonation and tart finish. The initial off tasting yeastiness in the finish clears some as the beer warms / opens up. Solid.
