Several pints from a growler shared by my brother in law. The pour is a hazy brown, dark copper along with a small light tan head. The aroma is big malt, roasty toasty, nutty along with an earthy spice. The taste is deep rich nutty malt flavors, softly fruit sweet, with a nice backbone of the toast and spice of the rye. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and spiced mineral earth finish. Nicely made.
