On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amer with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of raisin and barrel with earthy grass and grains. Flavor begins with raisin and has a finish of sweet grain, Chardonnay, a hint of butterscotch and earthy grass.

Tulip draft at the brewery taproom in North Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is hazed orange copper with a smallish off white head. The aroma is softly sweet malt, some nuttiness, dry floral bitter hops, raisins, fersh oak. Interesting nose. The taste has the oak barrel up front, followed by a balance of the raisin malt sweet and the dry floral bitter hop character. The sweet is more pronounced as the beer warms. The palate is medium bodied, natural soft carbonation, dry bitter oak finish. As mentioned, the raisin sweet is more pronounced in the finish as the beer warms. Nice one.
