.5 liter draft at the Leawood, Kansas Gordon Biersch location. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a small off white head. The aroma has some sharp malt, paired with a touch of caramel sweetness. The taste is the caramel nutty malt up front, turns to some grain and finishes with toast malt. The finish is a bit flat, along with some more of the malt sweet lingering in the finish. The palate is light bodied, with a low carbonation level, a bit flat and flabby leading towards the lingering sweet finish. This lacks some of the crispness of the other Gordon Biersch beers, just ok.
