Shaker pint draft from a firkin cask at Martin City Brewing Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a very cloudy hazy orange golden, which kinda looks like orange juice in the glass. The small off white head leaves decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is big citrus hops, fresh apricot fruit, a nice tartness, and a bit of grass. Really fresh and bright nose. The taste features the big citrus hops paired nicely with the fruit sweetness of the apricot. There is also a nice tart lemon peel present, which makes the taste vibrant. As the beer warms, a nice nice toasted malt comes out as well. As with the nose, the taste is fresh and bright. The palate is the low cask carbonation, though what is present is quite natural. The finish is clean and dry. Lovely pint, thanks to the folks at MCBC for putting this one on.
