750ml bottle via Secret Santa pours a murky, deep black with lots of frothy, beige head. Nose has burnt wheat chaff, some rubber, burnt toast, caramel, burnt molasses, a little yeasty, some charcoal. Flavor is extremely earthy and dry, soil, burnt toast, wheat chaff, chalky, a little nutty, some molasses, licorice. Very dry, almost too dry, on the end.

Sinful black stuff with a fine beige head. Good looking babe. Lots of chocolate and coffee. Yummi. A bit soft carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Powerful evening sipper this one. Lovely balanced coffee, espresso, chocolate and mild fruit flavor. One is enough for one evening. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at home. Pours a black colour with a huge, creamy, light brown head. Roasted aroma with coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, leather, dark wood and som alcohol. The flavour has also nice roasted tones and lots of coffee. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A well-balanced strong ale with nice roasted flavours.
