On tap at Les Cuves de Fauve, pours black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is odd, bringing out the peanuts and caramel in strange cohesion, which almost comes across vegetal. Flavour is more cohesive, tasting like a de-sugared Snickers bar: peanuts, caramel, maybe some cocoa. Not too sweet. For what it is, it’s pretty solid, just not my jam.

Can at the flat in Sofia - sourced from Nosferatu. Pours black-brown with a quickly fading, tan foam topping. Big sweet flavour, some gooey chocolate, booze, toasted toffee, nutty accents, chewy dark fruits. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, sticky and sweet, some chocolate sauce, more peanut accents, soft roast, sugar syrup. Slightly cloying. Enjoyable in small dosage.
