Jacobsen India Pale Ale is an amber IPA with a dense creamy foam. The scent features notes of bark, coriander and citrus on top of a rich malt base. The taste is fresh and crisp with a caramelised malt sweetness and a well-developed bitterness in the aftertaste.

(On tap at brewery) Hazy deep amber with good white head. Nice aroma with citrus notes and coriander hints. Medium body smooth with good soft carbonation. Good taste - toffee, orange, coriander. Gentle bitterness in finish. Very drinkable.

Cloudy, pale amber color and a white head. Starts with a very fruity nose, which dissapears quickly. Taste bitter-fruity with a dryish bitter finish

750 ml bottle, as Jacobsen Traditionel India Pale Ale, from SPAR Hirtshals. ABV is 6.6%, IBU 40. Orange colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Pleasant aroma of citrussy, piney, herbal and spicy hops, some caramel malts too. Smooth mouthfeel. Moderately sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, caramel and piney hops in the front seat, fairly distinct bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at home. Pours clear dark orange with a thick white head. Aromas of pale malts, some hops, floral notes, pilsner-like, yeasty, some fruit, citrus, sweet orange. Taste is malty, bready, pilsner-like, slightly hoppy, pretty artificial in the fruits. Damn, this is not good at all.

Bottle Amber color with huge light beige head. Aroma of caramel, light citrus hops. Taste, caramel, citrus hops in homeopathic amount. Boring beer.

Flaske fra Dagligbrugsen Sæby, på ferie der: klar gylden med ok skum. En frugtig ipa med appelsiner, lime og grapefrugt i en behagelig karamellisered maltkrop. Let drikkelig og med en frugtig afslutning. De mange øl jeg smagte i Sæby gav mig sådanne fornemmelser - spilder de smukke danske omgivelser ind her?

Draught @ random place. Yeasty and rather bitter IPA with notes of burnt sugar, red orange and herbs.
