500ml bottle. Pours clear brown with a tall beige head. Arioma is caramel, bread, dried fruit. Taste is medium sweet, caramel. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty doubtful that this is an ale.

Drunk straight from the bottle. Aroma and taste: caramel, treacle, dark bread, some esters, distant hop. Moderately sweet. Light bitterness. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: hardly Irish. But better than their pale lagers I guess.

Draught, Ulan Ude. Hazy reddish-amber. Bubbly thin head. The aroma is caramelly with light bready notes. Toasty, caramelly...but also a bit sour. I don’t think that was intended.
