A stout brewed with the compliment of oysters! This dark malt stout gives roasted chocolate and coffee flavours with a herbal lemon and spicy citrus background from the hops. There is also a slight saltiness from the hint of the sea.

Cask. Pours an opaque black with a rough, beige head. Lovely aroma of plenty of dried, dark, overripe fruit. Medium body, sweet overripe fruit, subtle roast and a little licorice. Very subdued bitterness. Enjoyable. 141212

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish to chocolate. Toasted malty, vague smoked accent, chocolate and dark roasted breadish. Roasted and dry malty finish.

Black with a thin creamy head. Only the slightest of roast aroma and tastes and is more crisp in character.
