On tap at Rokko Garden in Kobe. Probably one of the most disappointing beers I’ve had recently. It poured a crystal clear straw color with a nice head of foam which right away had me wondering "Is this the weizen???" It was served a bit too cold so the aroma was minimal, so much so I checked with the staff if it wasn’t the pilsner! After warming up there were slight fruity notes but zero spiciness which you normally get from a weizen. It is not at all to style and was the worst weizen I’ve had, I am still not convinced it is really a weizen...

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, yeast, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Fresh, fruity nose. Light body, lightly tart and citrusy with a yeasty edge. Absolutely no bitterness. 221012
