Tap at Yellow Ape. Shiny copper, clear, with a fine head. Sweet, fruity nose, plums, white grapes, cherry, lightly spicy. Sweet like soda pop, like Fanta, and somewhat fake tasting. Not terrible, but not would it should be.

Can for 350 yen from Asahiya. It pours a reddish copper color, with a slight foamy beige head. The aroma is candyish malts with a med-full body and a bit of a rough mouthfeel. More of an English Pale Ale than an APA which is no surprise considering the name. Overall, it isn’t that bad as it is much less cloyingingly sweet than your average English Pale Ale. Good enough but average.
