Cold IPA was fermented with our house lager yeast at high temperatures and then dry hopped with cryo Citra and cryo Tallus hops. The result is an explosion of tropical fruit, with a bone dry, bitter finish. We aimed to brew and easy drinking beer with the thirst quenching character of our lagers combined with the flavour and aromas typical of IPAs.
The result is a beer that lager-lovers and hop heads will appreciate equally.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Mid-gold and mostly clear with a small white head. Floral aroma, sweet tropical fruits, light citrus. Tastes of orange, pineapple, lychee, with notes of white pepper. It's sweet but by no means unbearably so. Medium body with very heavy carbonation. My beer of the night.

Rocky white head on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Cat piss, weed & hopped up aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & foamy with a cloying back. Sweet citrus, bubble gum, herbal & dank tastes.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: tropical fruits. Taste: crisp, muted tropical fruits, tangy, very dry. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. My first Cold IPA, it's just an IPL right?
