0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, marktkauf/edeka. pours a clear pale golden with a persistent white head and a nice lacing. rather intense aroma of grains and herbs. mild flavour of grains, bread, chalk. oily mounthfeel.

Bottle: greenish-golden, mid-sized loose White head; sweetish pale-malty nose with a slight herbal background; moderate to solid sweet flavour, just a light bitterness underneath, medium bodied; sweet pale-malty finish, some balancing hops detectable. Tastes almost like a diluted Heller Bock...

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, straw and light herbal. Mild sweet. Grassy and straw. Bitter and dry herbal into the finish.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma. Taste is slightly strawy, subtle pale malt sweetness, a touch of biscuit and powder sugar; super soft palate, entraps to bite instead of slurping.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fresh German aromatic hops, notes of flowers, newmown grass and herbs, sweetish hints of honey. The flavour has a moderate sweetness, and subtle German hops throughout. With slightly less alcohol (4.8 / 4.9% in a normal helles), this would be a nice beer for the summer months - there is not really anything very wintery about it, except for the snowy label and slightly higher ABV. .
