Fra flaske på Cardinal, DSJT nov-14: klar lys gylden med kort hvitt skum. En helt ok pilsner, men heller ikke noe mer. Ikke det jeg tenker på som juleøl.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Arcobräu Winterbier ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet sugary malt, sweet malt, hay, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140527]

Bottle looks really good, nice label. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty-spicy, strong, but not too intense. Some wheaty notes. Modest sourish. Finish still intense malty, spicy, but well balanced. Quite drinkable. Good!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.

Hell malziger, etwas muffiger Antrunk. Zum Mittelteil etwas herber mit leichter Hopfigkeit, wenig grasig. Ein unspektakukäres normales Helles. 8/8/9/8/9/8

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy, slightly doughy and subtle grainy malty aroma with notes of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malt-character with shy grainy spots and a touch of herbal hops; sweet-bitter, moderately malty finish with a noticeable herbal hops presence. Not bad for a Festbier, just a tad too slim. 09.XII.13

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale golden, white head. Malty, slightly grainy with shy woody hops in the finish. Like a solid standard Export, perhaps slightly maltier.

Light yellow golden, clear, bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma - light lager hops, light spicy hops, touch of cereals
Taste - Soft pale sweet malts, light spicy hop, soft cereals, some plae sweet caramel
Palate - Medium body, medium carb, oily slick texture. Smooth oily fairly sweet finish.
Overall - Not a fan of lagers but I would drink this, reasonable with a surprising viscous texture
