Bottle thanks to Adam! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a strong apple note with a good amount of roasted malts, some cassis and a bit of barrel. Flavor has a more blackberry with barrel, roasted malts and a bit of apple.

Mikkeller Vik. Three Floyds tap takeover. Glass share thanks to Fonefan who wouldn’t reveal where his glass came from. Maybe (shock horror) he pilfered it! Clear deep red beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Paint like ester sweetness. Mixed berries, touch of spice. Tangy berry finish. Not Three Floyds finest but okay.
