An exquisite dark amber beer. Easter is a time most Faroese people spend with their loved-ones, enjoying good food and company, so we made this seasonal beer to celebrate this tradition. The balanced flavours of selected yeast and two kinds of malt and hop give OKkara Vár its distinctly welcoming appeal, perfect for festive and family occasions alike.

OKKARA LUNDI.

Runder, mild malziger Start. Weich herb, das Karamellaroma ist trocken, die Intensität ist dadurch schwächer als erwartet. Leicht steigende Herbe, eher kurzer Abgang. Okay. 9/9/9/9/7/9

0,33l can at home shared by Sander, big thanks. BB 28.02.2019. amber clear color, small white head. smells earthy, musty, light, cardboard, lightly metallic, rather average smell. medium to full body, rather flat carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, cardboard, peppery, spices, herbal, doughy. finishes bitter sweet with notes of earth, cardboad and some spices. not a fan, rather weird, the flat carbonation does not help to make this more interesting, below average. 5, 4, 5, 3, 9

330 ml can, bb 28/02/19, shared by Sander, thanks!
Amber-reddish body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of corn, molasses, caramel, toast, some bread, some grains.
Tastes quite similar, while with a bitter balance.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, subtly bitter, a bit grainy, grassy, a bit toasty, with some corn.

OK. Very average, but not that bad. Taste is better than the nose. Drinkable.
