Once again we've been lucky enough to participate in NZ Hops Bract Programme, which gives us exclusive access to exciting new varieties of hops. Following on from the success of Metastable Vacuum earlier this year (which featured NZH-105) now, we bring you False Vacuum showcasing the highly promising NZH-109.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, good white head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, flirting with thin, a thin creamy sweetness. NZH109 hops bring a good burst of tropical fruits with quite a candyish edge. Mango, guava for sure, touch of mandarin. Light cooling pine throughout. Didn't really get any Citra here, no objections, enjoying this new New Zealand hop.

Can shared at Væskebalancen, Copenhagen 07/12/2024 First NZH-109 hopped beer, delivers a pleasing antipodean hoppy fruity medley of gooseberry and crushed white grape, tender and juicy, medium body, nice malty support, balanced bitter hoppy finish’s very nice indeed.
