Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mild fine carbonation. Light thin malts, trace of caramel. Decent (if mild for a DIPA) hops, light pine, mild citrus. Light dry finish. Lacks punch but it’s not bad.

Glass, 4-ounce, draught, during the Mondial de la bière, savoured on June 13 2014; eye: coppery, semi-hazy, no effervescence, tiny ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: hops, light malt, bittering hops, light fruity, light caramel; mouth: hops, light malt, bittering hops, light fruity, light caramel, finale in bittering hops with presence of malt, medium-full body, good carbonation, mildly bitter, slightly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Verre, 4 onces, en fût, lors du Mondial de la bière, savourée le 13 juin 2014; œil : cuivrée, semi-voilée, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse beige, légère dentelle; nez : houblon, léger malt, houblon amérisant, léger fruité, léger caramel; bouche : houblon, léger malt, houblon amérisant, léger fruité, léger caramel, finale en houblon amérisant avec présence de malt, corps moyen-corsé, bonne carbonatation, moyennement amère, très légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : correct
