Mixed Culture Bier blended from oak and stainless and bottle conditioned with raw Vermont wildflower honey
For this blend, we had our friends @messorembracitorium visit and help us sift through some choice barrels and various mixed culture projects.
This blend consists of barrel aged Pronghorn (our Bavarian Helles) blended with mixed culture Witbier.

Pale and hazy. There's a nice bretty accent. The brett is good, with a slight sweetness and moderate acidity. Good balance. I like the honeyish sweetness.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of bugs, rustic saison yeast, and a touch of oak. Flavour is fairly grainy, with rustic saison yeast, some huskiness in the malts, and a touch of oak. Only a touch of tartness on the finish. Nice yeast profile, but just a little rough. Good.

750ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer!).
Aroma: nice bugs and farmhouse notes, a bit fruity.
Taste: along the same lines, a bit lemony, buggy. Good body.
Overall: it's good, but kinda misses the sharpness and intensity.

Poured from 750mL bottle (thanks Derek & JF). Hazy yellow with small white head. Mild oak, interesting mixed ferm culture, feint floral honey character in the background, okay. The helles/witbier mixed culture come across slightly muted.
